Sánchez-Casal Academy

Academia Sánchez-Casal (ASC) Nanjing is a tennis academy which cooperatively build by Academia Sánchez-Casal and Tennis Academy of China (TAC). Being facilitated by Samaranch Foundation, we have operated ASC Nanjing from April 23, 2016. It is the third Tennis Academy of Academia Sánchez-Casal around the world.

As a part of cooperator, ASC Barcelona is one of the most famous tennis academy on the world. Andy Murray, Svetlana Kuznetsova, Daniela Hantuchova, etc trained in here for their tennis development. Moreover, ASC Barcelona and ASC Florida are sending many Tennis members to the world top universities.

Besides, as the other part of cooperator, Tennis Academy of China is a national institute of sport which offers tennis training, teaching, competition, scientific research and services. We are helping our members to become international and professional tennis elite. There are 40 tennis courts in here, including all the Grand Slams standard courts. We already held tennis competitions such as ATP Tournament, ITFU18, Asian Youth Games and Youth Olympic Games successfully since 2012.

In combined with TAC high quality facilities and the world top tennis training team from ASC Barcelona, our ASC Nanjing can provide you the most professional tennis training services.

Mr. Jiang Hongwei, one of the most important founder of ASC Nanjing, Vice President of Nanjing Institute of Physical Education and Sports, President of TAC. He was the head coach of Chinese National Tennis Team, Head of the Chinese National Tennis Team Expert Group, Head Coach of the Jiangsu Tennis Province Team.

Jiang was the coach of the Chinese National Female Tennis Team since 1988. He is the pioneer of proposed tennis career to be more professional, commercial and computer-based ranking in China.

What is more, when he was being the head coach of the Chinese National Tennis Team (including 2008 Beijing Olympics in charge of the female team and 2012 London Olympics in charge of the both female and male’s team). He was the coach of Chinese famous tennis players Li Na, Zheng Jie and Yan Zi, also helped China to train many excellent tennis players.

Mr. Emilio Sánchez Vicario, founder of ASC Barcelona, Head of the Academia Sánchez-Casal Florida. In his tennis career, he honored:

Career highest singles ranking was World No. 7.
Career highest double ranking was World No.1 (1989).
Won 15 single medals, included Italian Tournament in 1991.
Won over 50 double medals, included French Open in 1988 and 1990; US Open in 1988.
As the doubles partners, Emilio Sánchez and Sergio Casal won US Open Champion, Wimbledon Championships Runner-up and 1988 Seoul Olympics Doubles Silver Medal, etc.
For Spanish National Team, Sánchez represented as the head coach for the Davis Cup for 3 years. Also helped them to win the champions on 1990 Hopman Cup and 1992 World Team Championship.

ASC China is located in the Tennis Academy China, a vibrant college where is pure, green and peaceful place which breeds the most ecological tennis resource and top tennis culture.

Tennis Academy China is built by the Tennis Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China Jiangsu Province Administration of Sports and Nanjing Sport Institute. It is a comprehensive national institute of sports that includes teaching, training, cultivation, competition, searching and development and external communication services.
